Good Morning! I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Mine was okay. I woke up Saturday morning with a horrible head cold and still have it. That put a glitch in what was supposed to be a very productive weekend. I did, however, find some time in between naps and laundry (LOL) to play along for
Taylor's Cupcake Challenge this week. You can view her sketch
HERE. I pulled out my new SASI set,
Love is Sweet, and my
Valentine Key Ingredients for today's card. I colored the cute little cuppie in with Copic Markers and added
Crystal Stickles to the heart and cherry. I also used a silver pen for the metal part of the pencil (you can click on the photo for a larger view). The hearts were punched out using my
Martha Stewart Scalloped Heart Double Punch. I stamped the "
Be Mine" sentiment on a Cuttlebug ribbon slide and added three red rhinestones. The cardstock, patterned paper, and stain ribbon are all from the Valentine Key Ingredients. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope everyone has a GREAT day!

OMGosh, this is so cute!
So cute, Laura! I always love your little details - the sparkly heart at the end of the pencil...and those scalloped hearts are perfect! That reminds me, I need to make something with the paper you sent me - it's in the dining room and hasn't made its way to my craft area - that's the goal for tomorrow!
I just love your interpretation of Taylor's sketch! It is so cute! I love how you added the hearts down the side. It is the perfect touch!
Smiles,
Janna
