SUINKWWC40 - Let's Get Scrappy

Good Morning! I hope everyone is having a good week so far. It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another WHACHADOIN' WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE at Storage Units, Ink & More. This week's challenge is to create a scrapbook page in honor of National Scrapbooking Month. So, do you want to play along? If so, check out THIS post for more information. If you upload your creation to SCS, remember to use keyword SUINKWWC40.

I wanted to create a scrapbook page for this photo of my youngest Daughter. She is five now, but this was taken at her 1st birthday party (please excuse the quality of the photo, as it was taken before I owned a digital camera...LOL!).

This is an 8x8 page and I used Core'dinations cardstock for the base. All other cardstock and patterned paper, as well as the ribbon and brads are from the Birthday Girl Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions. The It's My Party set by SUINK was just perfect for this page. I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them in with Prismacolor Markers. I paper pieced a couple of the balloons and added StarDust Stickles to a couple others. It's really hard to see in the photo, but the background is stamped with the balloon image using Gable Green ink. The "Happy Birthday" image was cut out with my Mega Curved Rectangle dies and the balloons are popped up with dimensionals.

Don't forget to check out the SUINK Blog for more scrapbook pages from the design team.

Also new this month at Storage Units, Ink, and More is their website. They have merged their two wonderful websites into one to bring you everything you need under one roof ~ http://www.suink.net/. Plus, they are now carrying My Little Shoebox patterned paper, ribbon, buttons, and flowers (YIPEE!). Go check it out!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL day!

That's what, your second scrapbook page now? Look at you all crafty...cards...frames...scrapbooking - my goodness! Looks like you are having fun with our little hobby - cute scrapbook page too - love those "old school" pictures...even the ones that are only 5 years old are considered old these days!
