Good Morning! I hope everyone is having a good week so far. It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another
WHACHADOIN' WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE at
Storage Units, Ink & More. This week's challenge is to use texture in your card making. What is your favorite way to add texture to your cards? Share your favorites or try something new. So, do you want to play along? If so, check out
THIS post for more information. If you upload your creation to SCS, remember to use keyword
SUINKWWC33.

There are many ways I like to add texture to my cards, but for this week's challenge I used my #1 favorite; the Cuttlebug embossing folder (I know, nothing fancy...LOL). For today's card I used the
Swiss Dots folder (my favorite). I also used
Taylor's Cupcake Challenge #60 sketch for my layout. The ADORABLE girl jumping rope and the sentiment are from the Storage Units, Ink & More set;
LET'S PLAY. I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink; paper pieced her dress, and colored the rest of the image in with Copic Markers. The cardstock, patterned paper, and ribbon are all from
Taylored Expressions. I used my new EK Success Wavy Dot Punch on the patterned paper and the image is popped up on dimensionals.
I hope that you will participate in this week's challenge and show us your favorite way to add texture to your cards. Just remember to use keyword SUINKWWC33 when uploading to SCS, so we can all take a look at your creations. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you all have a WONDERFUL day!

Such a cute card! Love the patterned paper and her paper pieced dress! And that ribbbon just makes it all pop!
Cute, cute, cute!!! I love the polka dot papers and the way you made the swirl at the bottom! Such great color combos as well! A fun and cheerful card!
Smiles,

Oh she's a cutie, Laura - and I love that shadowing thing you do...whatever it's called? The teal and red work together - that color combo scares me; but you worked it, girl!
Great job on this. Love the colors and the bordered punches strip! Great card.
