SUINKWWC34 - April Fools

Good Morning! I hope everyone is having a good week so far. It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another WHACHADOIN' WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE at Storage Units, Ink & More. This week's challenge is create a card that fits today's holiday; APRIL FOOLS.
It could be a joke, a prank, or just plain silly. Another option would be to use a stamp in an uncommon way. April Fools; you thought this stamp was for ____, but you can also do this with it. So, do you want to play along? If you upload your creation to SCS, remember to use keyword SUINKWWC34.

For this week's challenge, I decided to go the "silly" route. Who doesn't think their house is like a ZOO sometimes; especially if you have kids? I know mine is; more often than not...LOL! I used two Storage Units, Ink & More sets for my card this week. I used the LET'S PLAY set and the new (just released today) set, WELCOME TO THE ZOO. I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them in with Prismacolor Markers. I used my white gel pen to add polka dots to the green dress. The cardstock colors are Bazzill brown (card base & circles; don't have the exact color name), Core'dinations (blue), Green Galore, and Only Orange. I also used the same, fun American Crafts paper as I did on THIS card. The WELCOME TO THE ZOO image is cut out and popped up on the striped ribbon. You can check out more challenge cards from the other design team members on the SUINK Blog.

And, don't forget to check out the three NEW Storage Units, Ink & More sets that were released today. They are absolutely ADORABLE.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you all have a WONDERFUL day!

Ooooo - I like brown, orange and green together...and Welcome to the Zoo is perfect for all those kiddies on there; cute!

Super cute card Laura! And might I just add that "great minds think alike" LOL! Check out my card for the challenge today! We were definitely on the same page! :)

This is just adorable!!!! I adore the way you made the circles with teh children in them! And you are so right it seems like being around kids is like being at the zoo! A perfect card for this challenge and a great layout!
