Good Evening! So, listen to what I did this afternoon. I was editing a few of my posts that had the label "Storage Units, Ink & More", because I had mispelled the label. In one brief second, I accidentally deleted three of my most recent SUINK posts (including today's post). I just sat there and stared at my computer screen for about 5 minutes; I couldn't belive it. In the past, when I've deleted a post, it asks me "are you sure?", but it didn't this time. So, I had to go back and redo all three posts and thank goodness I rememberd most of what I typed...LOL!!! You can't really tell by just glancing at my blog, except for all of the WONDERFUL comments that were left for me are gone *insert sad face*. Any who, I guess I'll have to be more careful next time.
I also have another Birthday RAK to share with you. I received this SUPER CUTE card in the mail today from my blogging buddy, Michelle. Thank you so much Michelle; I LOVE IT!!!
I'm off to get ready for a New Year's Eve party that we are going to tonight. We NEVER go anywhere on New Year's Eve unless we are spending the night there, so luckily for us, our friends four doors down are having a party this year, so we can walk...LOL!!! I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe New Year's Eve!

SUINKWWC21 - Happy New Year
Good Afternoon and Happy New Year's Eve! It's time for another Whachadoin' Wednesday Challenge at Storage Units, Ink & More. The challenge this week is simple; make a card for the New Year. It can say Happy New Year or it can be a representation of something you wish to do in the New Year or any other interpretation you wish. You can check out THIS post for more information on how to play along.
For my card, I used the SUINK set AT A SNAILS PACE. As soon as I saw the "Slow down and smell the flowers" sentiment, I knew this was going to be my card for this week's challenge. Looking back on 2008 and thinking about how fast the year flew by, I don't think I really took the time to slow down and appreciate everything in my life. It's always GO, GO, GO and I'm sure all of you can relate to that...LOL! This is something I would like to change in 2009; for myself, my family, and everyone and everything that is important to me. I used Prism Papers Baby Pink Medium and Chocolate Chip cardstock and the patterned paper is from the Making Memories Noteworthy Collection. I colored the images in with Copic Markers and added Crystal Stickles to the center of the flowers. The polka dot paper is embossed with the Cuttlebug d'vine Swirls embossing folder. I added some brown and white polka dot ribbon from Taylored Expressions and I thought the adhesive pearls were a nice touch.
Today is also the last day of sneak peeks for the two new releases by Storage Units, Ink & More. They are called SWEET THINGS & WILL YOU BE MY VALENTINE and they will be available tomorrow, January 1st. It's Janna and Alex's turn to show you their peeks, so head on over to their blogs to see their ADORABLE (and I mean ADORABLE) creations. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL and safe New Year's Eve!

SUINK Sneak Peek - SWEET THINGS
Good Morning & Happy Tuesday! It's my turn to give you a SNEAK PEEK at one of the newest sets being released by Storage Units, Ink & More on January 1st (YAY; only 2 more days). For this card, I used the SWEET THINGS set. When I first saw this set, the first image that caught my eye was this adorable cupcake. Who doesn't like cupcakes, right?!?
Leigh & Amber are also sharing their sneak peeks today. So, head on over to their blogs to see what they have in store for you. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful day!
I used Whisper White for the card base and the pink and lavender cardstock by Core'dinations (also available at SUINK). The texture and quality of this cardstock is AMAZING. Keep a look out, because in the near future I will be showing you why this isn't just your ordinary cardstock. I colored in the cupcake with Prismacolor Pencils, paper pieced the cupcake liner, and added LOTS of Crystal Stickles. The "Love + Sweet = Happiness" sentiment is also from the Sweet Things set and I cut it out using a pair of scalloped scissors. I wish I could remember what company this cute patterned paper is from. It's something I picked up from my LSS a while back. The striped grosgrain ribbon is from one of Jody's ribbon shares and it matched the pink cardstock perfectly. To finish the card off, I added a red rhinestone to the cherry and silver rhinestones next to the sentiment.

TECC48 ~ Lil' Pea-Nut Birthday
Good Afternoon! I want to start off by saying that I'm sorry about the poor picture quality of my card today. I was SO TIRED when I took the picture last night and I just didn't have the energy to keep playing with it. So, this is going to have to do...LOL! I made this card for Taylor's Cupcake Challenge this week. You can view her sketch here. My Lil' Pea-Nut stamp set from Our Craft Lounge hadn't seen any ink yet, so I thought it was time I changed that. I colored the images in with Copic Markers and added Crystal Stickles to the party hat, ice cream, and present. I actually used five different images (plus the sentiment) from the Lil' Pea-Nut set; the elephant, party hat, ice cream cone, grass, and present. The cardstock colors are Real Red and Cool Caribbean and the patterned paper is from the My Mind's Eye Enchanting Collection. I embossed the Cool Caribbean layer with my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder and popped the present up with dimensionals.
Today is the second day of "Sneak Peaks" for the two newest releases from Storage Units, Ink & More! which will be available on January 1st. Head on over to Kristen's, Tori's, and Carolina's blogs to see what they have in store for you today and I will be back tomorrow with my sneak peek. JustRite Monogram Set
Good Morning & Happy Tuesday! Right before my husband and I were ready to ship out my in-laws Christmas gifts to Georgia, I decided I wanted to put one last little gift in there for my mother-in-law. So, I sat down this past Saturday morning (literally an hour before my husband was leaving for the UPS store) and made this set of six monogram cards. I wanted them to be cute (of course), but they had to be quick. So, I pulled out my SU! Friends and Flowers scrappin' kit and went to work. I used the JustRite Curlz Kit to create the monogram and stamped it in Tempting Turquoise ink. I punched out the monogram and then layered it to So Saffron cardstock which I cut out using my Martha Stewart Circle Cutter. I inked around the So Saffron layer with Chocolate Chip ink and popped it up on dimensionals. I also stamped six matching envelopes and packaged everything up in a Clearly Creative Card Box from PAPERTREYink. Then, I decorated the outside of the box with a belly band and more cardstock stickers from the Friends and Flowers scrappin' kit. I didn't have enough time to take a picture of the box, but it turned out really cute. I really hope my mother-in-law likes them. If you stopped by today, thank you, and I hope everyone is having a GREAT week so far.

TECC47 - Let It Snow
Good Morning! So, how was everyone's last weekend before the big day??? Mine was CRAZY; as I'm sure all of yours was! I have a few little things to finish up today and tomorrow, but other than that; I'm done...YIPPEE!!! Only 3 more days; are YOU ready? I needed a couple of more Christmas cards to go along with gifts for my niece and nephew, so I sat down on Saturday and participated in Taylor's Cupcake Challenge. You can view her sketch for this week here. I pulled out my SASI Home Sweet Home set and inked up the snowman cuppie for the first time. I colored it in with Prismacolor Markers and Copic Markers, paper pieced the hat and scarf, and added a silver rhinestone to the scarf. I used Prism Papers Blush Red Dark cardstock and the patterned paper and solid green layer is from a pack of Making Memories Christmas paper I picked up from Target. The "Let It Snow" sentiment is also from the Home Sweet Home set and I added three silver rhinestones underneath it. That's it for today. It's a short week, so lots to do on the work front. Thanks for stopping by. I hope everyone has a GREAT (and warm) day!

Many Thanks Set
One of the "To Do" items on my list this week was to make a set of six thank you cards as a Christmas gift for one of my Daughter's teachers. With so much that still needs to be done for Christmas, I wanted (I NEEDED) the cards to be very quick and easy. Recently, I purchased Taylor's newest Taylored Kit and really liked the simple layout she used for the cards, so I decided to use the same layout. I found this patterned paper in my stash and thought is was just PERFECT. The paper is called "A Is For Apple" and it's from the Scribble Scrabble Autumn Afternoon Collection. I used Bazzill Old Flame and Bazzill Hillary cardstock to match and stamped the sentiment on SU! Naturals Ivory cardstock in Bravo Burgundy ink. The stamp is from the SU! Lots of Thoughts set. I got the idea to use just the "Many Thanks" part from hudsonhannah on SCS and you can view her cards that inspired me here. I used Bravo Burgundy ink to stamp the sentiment and the polka dot ribbon is from Taylored Expressions. I also stamped matching envelopes using the Teacher's Apple set from PAPERTREYink. The apple is stamped in Bravo Burgundy, the stem in Close to Cocoa, and the leaf in Old Olive. I actually made three different cards with different ribbon (two of each), but I'm just showing you one of them here. I packaged the cards and envelopes in a Clearly Creative Card Box from PAPERTREYink and tied the same ribbon around the box. Thanks for stopping by. I hope everyone is having a GREAT day!!!

TECC46 - Sweet Celebration Trio
Good Morning! Only 9 days left; are you ready? I made a list of everything I need to accomplish this week and was able to cross a couple of things off the list last night; YAY!!! This is the other card I made this past weekend using this sketch of Taylor's. I used the SASI Sweet Celebration set and the Birthday Girl Key Ingredients. I stamped the cuppie on Whisper White cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then masked it and stamped the image two more times. The cuppies are colored in with Prismascolor Markers, except for the faces; I used a Copic Marker for those. I used my Fiskars Threading Water Punch on the pink layer and added two different size orange rhinestones to the scallops. And, last but not least, I added Crystal Stickles to the cute little cuppies (you can click on the photo for a better view of the sparkle).
Have a GREAT day everyone!!!

TECC46 - Fa La La La La
Good Afternoon! I hope everyone had a nice weekend. My weekend was good, but very busy; as I'm sure most of yours was. However, I'm still not even close to being done with everything I have to do for Christmas. I went to bed last night and stared at the ceiling for over two hours thinking of everything that I need to accomplish this week. My mind would not stop racing. Needless to say, I am not very rested today. I did have a little time over the weekend to make a card (two actually) for Taylor's Cupcake Challenge this week. You can view her sketch here. For this card I used the caroling cuppie and the "Fa La La La La" sentiment from the Home Sweet Home set by SASI. The Herbal Garden Medium and Blush Red Dark Prism cardstock is from Taylored Expressions and the patterned paper is from the Making Memories Fa La La Collection. I colored in the image with Copic Markers; paper pierced the scarf, and added some Fire Engine Red glitter. I used my Fiskars Threading Water Punch to create the scallops and finished the card off with some polka dot ribbon from Taylored Expressions (love this stuff). I'll be back tomorrow to share the other card I made using this same sketch. Thanks for stopping by and I hope everyone has a wonderful Monday.

Billboardabella Birthday
Try saying that title five times fast...LOL!!! I just noticed that it's been almost a week since my last post; OOPS!!! In addition to Christmas, we also have quite a few family members and friends with birthdays this month; including mine *wink*. So, it was nice to take a break from making Christmas cards (not that I don't enjoy it) to make a birthday card. This specific card is for my friend's Daughter whose birthday is tomorrow. I used Billboardabella with the "Happy Birthday" sentiment. The image is colored in with a combination of Prismacolor Markers, Copic Markers, and Prismacolor Pencils. The cardstock colors are Regal Rose, Real Red, and Bazzill Patina and the patterned paper is from the My Mind's Eye Enchanting Collection. It's really hard to see in the photo, but I stamped the Real Red layer using the star stamp from the Icing on the Cake set by My Favorite Things. What is also hard to see in the photo (you can click on the photo for a better view) is that I added StarDust Stickles to the heart on her shirt, her belt, and the inside of the billboard. I also added some Red Kaiser Rhinestones to the corners of the images and to her headband. The Bazill Patina layer was punched with my Fiskars Threading Water Punch and the satin ribbon is from Michael's. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope everyone has a wonderful Hump Day!

SC204 - Snowfall
Good Afternoon! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. So, did anyone brave the crowds on Black Friday? I told myself I wasn't going to do ANY shopping on Friday, but I ended up hitting a couple of stores with a girlfriend of mine. I picked up a couple of Christmas gifts for my oldest Daughter, but I'm not anywhere close to being done shopping; YIKES!!! Any who, onto my card, which I made using last week's Sketch Challenge from SCS. A sweet friend of mine sent me this Whipper Snapper Snowfall image this time last year and I'm now just getting around to using it (how sad is that...LOL)?!? The image is colored in with Prismacolor Markers and Copic Markers. I added Crystal Stickles to all the areas I colored pink and white Liquid Applique to the tip of the hat. I used Whisper White and Garden Green cardstock along with patterned paper from the KI Memories Joyful Collection. The image is popped up on dimensionals and the red grosgrain ribbon is from Taylored Expressions. Thanks for stopping by and I hope everyone is having a good week so far.

Junior Legal Pad Wish Lists
YAY; it's WEDNESDAY! I wouldn't normally be this excited about a Wednesday, but since it's the last day of the work week and Thanksgiving is tomorrow; I am...LOL!!! After I finished making the card I posted yesterday, I decided to keep out my Be Merry patterned paper and die cuts to make my girls each a little "wish list". SCS has a great tutorial for these, which you can view it here. I bought a pack of junior legal pads at my local office supply store, had them cut them in half (vertically), and I was on my "merry" way...LOL!!! I used Regal Rose and Garden Green cardstock. The green wish list is stamped with the PAPERTREYink Polka Dot Basics set. So, why didn't I stamp the other one? Well, my five year old was looking over my shoulder the entire time I was making hers saying "Are you done yet Mommy, are you done yet?". Since I was pretty sure that her wish list wouldn't stay in one piece very long, I decided to forgo stamping the background and just finish it up as quickly as I could for her...LOL. It's hard to see in the photo, but I added Crystal Stickles to parts of the die cuts (you can click on the photo for a larger view) and the glimmer ribbon is from the Christmas Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions. My girls were SO excited when I gave them each their wish lists; they couldn't wait to start using them. So, before they did, I snapped a picture of them. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful day!

TECC43 - No Stamping!!!
Hello... :) This is another card I made for Taylor's Cupcake Challenge this past Friday (you can view her sketch here). Taylor inspired me to try making my own "no stamping" card and this is what I came up with. The red, brown, and blue cardstock are all from the Christmas Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions. The Jack Frost patterned paper, snowman, and sentiment are all from the My Mind's Eye Be Merry Collection. I punched out the snowflake with my Martha Stewart snowflake punch and I added a red rhinestone to the center. The ice blue rhinestones are also from the Christmas Key Ingredients. It's hard to see in the photo, but I also sponged around the snowman and sentiment with Close to Cocoa ink. That's it; super easy and I didn't use a single stamp...LOL!!! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful day!

TECC43 - Happy Birthday!
Good Afternoon! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I had a little time on Saturday to sit down and create something for Taylor's Cupcake Challenge this week. You can view her sketch here. Both the main image and sentiment are from the SASI Sweet Celebration set and the three candles are from the Icing on the Cake set by MFT. The pink, green, and orange cardstock as well as the patterned paper and brads are all from the Birthday Girl Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions. I colored the images in with a combination of Prismacolor Markers and Copic Markers. Then I added Crystal Stickles to parts of the cupcake, cake, and candles. I'm starting to think I have an addiction to Stickles. I've been adding it to everything...LOL!!! I cut the pink layer of the sentiment with a pair of scalloped scissors to match the scalloped circle punch. Thanks for stopping by and I hope everyone has a great day!

YAY; I'm a Friday Friend!
Good Morning and TGIF!!! Guess what? I'm this week's "Friday Friend" over on the SASI (Stamp a Sweet Impression) Blog. I can't even tell you how excited I was when I received Taylor's email earlier this week. Sure, I contained myself (a little bit) when I responded to her, but really I almost jumped out of my computer chair...LOL!!! I have always been a huge fan of Taylor's work (and now a huge SASI fan), so it's an honor to be their "friend" today...:)
To see what I created, head on over to the SASI Blog. You can get to know a little bit more about me and I even have a recipe to share with all of you. And, don't forget to stop over at Taylored Expressions to check out all of the "yummy" SASI stamps.
Thanks for stopping by today to share in my excitement. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Penguin Games
Good Morning and Happy Hump Day...LOL!!! Last year I really wanted to get this Penguin Games stamp by Stampendous, but never got around to it. This year I checked all of my favorite online stamping stores and they were all sold out...grrr. Then, I was at Michael's about a month ago and I saw it on their Christmas end cap and it was on sale too; YIPPEE!!! I had so much fun coloring in these guys. I stamped the image in Momento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it in with Prismacolor Markers. I added some White Liquid Applique to their hats. I also added Crystal Stickles to the bulbs and to the base of the larger penguins for a sparkly snow effect. The "Let It Snow" sentiment from the SASI Home Sweet Home set was perfect for this card. I stamped the sentiment on a Cuttlebug ribbon slide, added some silver Dot Sparklers, and threaded some red and white polka dot ribbon through it. The cardstock is Prism Papers Classic Red and the patterned paper is from the KI Memories Joyful Collection. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful day!!!
