Monogrammed Note Cards

Good Afternoon! If you haven't already noticed; I love Taylored Expressions...LOL!!! Not only am I a loyal customer, but I'm also a Key Ingredients Subscriber. If you are not familiar with Taylor's Key Ingredients Subscription, you can read all about it HERE. With that being said, I'm just now getting around to posting what I made with February's Key Ingredients. I thought I better post this now before my March Ingredients arrive this week and I start creating with those.

February's Key Ingredients featured the classic black and white color combo and Taylor's challenge for the month was to add a crisp pop of color into our black and white cards. I decided to create a set of 8 (2 of each color) monogrammed cards for the most important woman in my life; my Mom. Since I was mass producing, I decided to keep the layout very simple. I pulled out my JustRight Curlz Kit and stamped the monograms with Memento Tuxedo Black in. I punched them out and then layered them to a scalloped circle. I also decorated a Perfect Package Card Box to put the cards and envelopes in. I kept that pretty simple as well, so that my Mom can reuse it once the cards are gone.

Happy Heart Day

As you can see by today's card, I'm a little behind on posting...LOL!!! This is another Valentine's Day card I made using the Love Everywhere set and Valentine Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions. There's not much to the card; it was pretty simple and quick to make. The tree, hearts, and dog are all separate images from the Love Everywhere set and I stamped them on Choice Buttercream cardstock. Then, I stamped the heart image again, cut a few of them out, popped them up and added some Stardust Stickles.

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #59

Well hello there and happy Tuesday! I hope everyone is having a good week so far. Today's card is one I made for Taylor's Dragonfly Card Drive. If you're not familiar with the card drive, you can check out all the details HERE. I used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch #59 for my layout and the November Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions.

The dragonfly stamp is from the Patterned Bugs set by Inkadinkado and is stamped in Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink. I cut the image out with my Curved Rectangle Nestabilities and added a couple of rhinestones to the center of the dragonfly. For the background, I used the smaller dragonfly stamp from the Patterned Bugs set, stamped the image numerous times with Versamark, and embossed the images with clear embossing powder. The "With Sympathy" sentiment is from the Warmest Regards set by SU!.

I made today's card for Taylor's 100th Sketch Celebration. I have always enjoyed participating in Taylor's weekly sketches (even though I haven't had much time lately), so I made the time this past weekend to participate in the celebration. And, I had so much fun making this card! I used the Love Everywhere from Taylored Expressions, along with the Valentine Key Ingredients. I cut out the house and heart and popped them up with dimensionals. Then, I added some Stardust Stickles to the heart. The heart above the sentiment is a chipboard hearts that came in the Valentine Key Ingredients. I covered it with patterned paper and sanded around the edges. My FAVORITE part of this card is the Oval Frameabellie I used around the image. I definitely have to get more of these.

Just Because (MOJO121) & Dundee

Good Afternoon & Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is having a good week so far. For today's card, I used Mojo Monday Sketch #121 and Verve Stamps Petals & Stems set. The cardstock and patterned paper are from the December Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions. I used Pink Passion, Certainly Celery, and a teal color from Storage Units, Ink & More. It's really hard to see in the photo, but I used my Quickie Glue Pen and Starfire Glitter on parts of the flower. It's SUPER sparkly IRL.

This past weekend, my hubby and I took our girls to Grizzly Jack's Grand Bear Resort. While we were there, we had the opportunity to take a picture with a 6 month old baby kangaroo named Dundee. Isn't he adorable??? He is, by far, the SOFTEST animal I have ever petted.

Past Valentine's Day Cards

It's been a CRAZY week on the home front, so I don't have anything new to show you today. However, I am in the process of working on three (yes, three...LOL) different cards/projects and as soon as those are completed, I'll be sure to post them.

So, since I don't have anything new to show you today, I thought I would post a couple of Valentine's Day cards from last year. I guess you could go into my archives, but I thought thisd would be easier....:) Both cards use last year's Valentine Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions. The image on the first card is from the Love is Sweet set. I colored the image in with Copic Markers and added some Starfire Glitter and Stardust Stickles. And, it's hard to see in the photo, but I stamped the red layer of cardstock with the three hearts stamp from the Love is Sweet set using Versamark. I also used TECC52 for my layout.

On the second card, I used the Will You Be My Valentine set by Storage Units, Ink & More. I paper pieced the girl's dress, colored the images in with Copic Markers, and added StarDust Stickles to the girl's heart and hair bow. I also used SC211 for my layout.

Taylor's Key Ingredient's challenge this month is to incorporate food into our creations (use food images, create recipe cards, etc. etc.). When I first saw January's Key Ingredients, two of Taylor's sets immediately popped into my mind (both food related); For the Love of Cupcakes and Berries & Cherries. I created two cards for today's hop showing some of the products included in January's Key Ingredients.

For my first card, I used one of the "Happy Birthday Cupcake!" sentiment and one of the cupcakes and cupcake stands from the For the Love of Cupcakes set. I colored the images in with Copic Markers and paper pieced the cupcake liner. Then, I added a button (from January's Key Ingredients), light pink rhinestones, and Stardust Stickles. I used my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder on the dark brown cardstock and then sponged the dots with white ink. To finish off the card, I added adhered on of the crocheted flowers and button from the Key Ingredients.

For my second card, I used the "thank you berry much" sentiment and chocolate covered strawberry image from the Berries & Cherries set. I colored image with Copic Markers and a different piece of patterned paper and ribbon from the January's Key Ingredients.

Chipboard Birthday

Good Afternoon! I hope everyone is having a good week so far. I have another card to show you today that I made a while back. All of the supplies I used for today's card (except for the "Happy Birthday" sentiment and pearls) are from the October Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions. I have never used chipboard on a card nor have I ever used Maya Mist before, so this specific Key Ingredients intimidated me a little at first...LOL.

The first thing I did was spritz the birdcage and bird wing with Avocado Metallic Maya Mist, then set them aside to dry. I was so surprised at how easy the mist was to use and the metallic shimmer it has to it is awesome. I traced the bird onto the patterned paper, cut it out, and adhered it to the chipboard. After the glue was dry, I sanded the edges and sponged it with a little Certainly Celery ink. The sentiment is from the Fresh Flowers set and I added a chocolate pearl for the bird's eye and a few below the sentiment.

Well, hello there everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and a very Happy New Year. Were any of you curious what had happened to me...LOL? No need to be worried; I'm doing great! I've been doing some stamping the past few months; I just haven't been updating my blog.

I made quite a bit of Christmas cards before the holiday, but failed to take photos of any of them before I gave them to their recipients. I do, however, have a simple card to show you today using SC249. The cardstock, patterned paper, ribbon, and rhinestone (on the flower) are all from the September Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions. The vase and flower images are from the Fresh Flowers set and I colored them in with Copic Markers. I stamped the flower a second time, colored it in, popped it up, and added a yellow rhinestone to the center. It's kind of hard to see in the photo, but I also stamped the background with another flower stamp from the set using Versamark and sponged around the image with Pretty in Pink ink.

TESC #86 Cards

Good Afternoon and Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is having a good week so far. I have a couple of cards to show you today using Taylor's Sketch Challenge #86.

For my first card I used the Berries & Cherries set from Taylored Expressions along with the Berries & Cherries Key Ingredients. I colored the image in with Copic Markers and popped it up with dimensionals. The red strip was punched out with my EK Success Wavy Dot Punch and I used my Word Window Punch for the sentiment. It's kind of hard to see in the photo, but I also added three Baby Pink Candy Dots right above the red strip.

For my second card I used some fun rub-ons and patterned paper I picked up from the Target $1 Spot. I used Choice Snow White cardstock for the base, Core'dinations purple, and Bazzill orange. I punched the orange strip with my Fiskars Threading Water Punch and used my Small Deckled Rectangle Nestabilities to cut out the image (love these dies). I also used some bat brads that I had in my stash from last Halloween.

WCMD Challenge Card

Good Afternoon & Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is having a good week so far. I made today's card for Taylor's World Card Making Day Challenge on the Stamp a Sweet Impression blog. I didn't do any stamping on World Card Making Day, but I was able to fit in a little bit of stamping time on Sunday while my hubby watched football.

The image is from the Fresh Flowers set by Taylored Expressions. I colored it in with Copic Markers and used my Spellbinders Small Deckled Rectangle dies to cut it out. The cardstock, patterned paper, ribbon, and yellow rhinestones are from the September Key Ingredients (also available at Taylored Expressions). I used my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder for the pink layer and popped the image up with dimensionals.

Hey Everyone! Long time, no post huh? It's been about two months. Did you miss me...LOL?!? I'm happy to say that things are going very well and I'm slowly getting back to stamping. I have a couple of cards to show you today, but first I would like to share a few photos with you.

Today is my Daughter, Erin's 6th birthday! Erin also started kindergarten this year; such an exciting time. She is adjusting very well and her Father and I are very proud of her. Here are some pictures of my birthday girl on her 1st day of kindergarten...:)

I have two cards to show you today using the August Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions. All the supplies I used on my first card are from the Key Ingredients, except for the sentiment. I also used Weekend Sketch Challenge #79 for my layout. I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it in with Copic Markers. I used a white card base, Real Red cardstock, and blue cardstock from Core'dinations. The patterned paper is from the DCWV All About Boys Collection and was just PERFECT for this stamp.

For my second card, I used the Summer Fun stamp. I colored in the image with Copic Markers and used my Sakura Stardust Gelly Roll Pen to add some sparkle to her wings. The cardstock colors are Papertrey Aqua Mist, Pink Pirouette, and Regal Rose and I'm not exactly sure what company the patterned paper is...:( I pierced each of the scallops, added some prima flowers, and attached a tag stamped with the "Summer Fun" sentiment with a brad.

More SUINK Cards

Good Morning & TGIF!!! I have two Storage Units, Ink & More creations to share with you today.

First, a card I made for CAS19 Sketch on SCS. I just loved Natasha's simple layout. The fish images and sentiment are from the Ocean Commotion set. I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored them in with Copic Markers, and added Crystal Stickles to the fish's lips. I used Prism Vibrant Teal and Prism Baby Pink Medium cardstock to match the Copic colors.

My next card is one that I made back in May and am just getting around to posting. I know; BAD BLOGGER...LOL!!! I used the It's My Party set and Taylor's Cupcake Challenge Sketch #70 for my layout. The cardstock, patterned paper, and ribbon are from the Birthday Girl Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions. I stamped the girl image, then masked her off and stamped the balloons. I colored the images in with Prismacolor Markers and paper pierced a couple of the balloons. I also added some dots to her bow and dress with a white gel pen.

Tomorrow morning I am heading up to Denise's house (owner of Storage Units, Ink & More) for a design team get together this weekend. I am really excited to meet Denise in person and I'm looking forward to stamping my little heart out. I'm sure I will have tons of photos to share with you next week.

Good Evening! I hope everyone is having a good week so far. I'm sorry I'm late with my WWC post today. I've been home all day taking care of my five year old who's been sick since last night....:( It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another WHACHADOIN' WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE at Storage Units, Ink & More. This week's challenge is to make a card with a unique shape. Try to make something out of the ordinary; not a circle or top note die card. How about a ship, baby bottle, or whatever; just not square, rectangle, or even round. So, do you want to play along? If so, check out THIS post for more information. For my challenge card this week I decided to make a onesie card. Thank you to Lauren Meader for her AWESOME tutorial on how to make these adorable cards. You can check it out HERE. The cardstock colors are Prism Intense Teal and Prism Classic Red and the patterned paper is from the My Mind's Eye Enchanting Collection. I colored the image in with Copic Markers and added Crystal Stickles to the fish's lips. Then, I pierced each scallop and then traced around them with a white gel pen and added silver rhinestones to look like snaps.

So, are you ready for the fun? Today I am peeking one of the newest releases, called YOU'RE A HOOT. I literally squealed when I saw this set for the first time. This set is SUPER adorable. There are different owl images, a tree branch, bird houses, and a variety of sentiments for different occasions. I stamped the owl and branch in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them in with Copic Markers. It's hard to see in the photo, but I added Crystal Stickles to parts of the owl. The "You're A Hoot" sentiment was stamped in Chocolate Chip ink and punched out with my 1-3/8 circle punch. I used Prism cardstock and the patterned paper is by My Mind's Eye. To finish off my card, I added some matching buttons (which are available HERE at Storage Units, Ink & More) and a small piece of polka dot grosgrain ribbon.

SUINKWWC42 - Here Comes SUMMER!

Good Morning! I hope everyone is having a good (short) week so far. It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another WHACHADOIN' WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE at Storage Units, Ink & More. This week's challenge is to get out your summer themed stamps and summer colors and bring on the HEAT! So, do you want to play along? If so, check out THIS post for more information. If you upload your creation to SCS, remember to use keyword SUINKWWC42.

For my challenge card this week, I didn't do very well in the "summer colors" department...LOL! However, SUMMER = ZOO for my family and I. My hubby and I make it a point to take our girls to the zoo at least once a summer. So, I used the Storage Units, Ink & More set; WELCOME TO THE ZOO. I colored the images in with Prismacolor Markers and cut them out with my Mega Curved Rectangle dies. The patterned paper is called Safari Trek by Reminisce. The leaves are from another piece of Reminisce patterned paper, called The Mighty Jungle. I cut them out and adhered and popped them up with dimensionals. I used my ticket corner punch, added brown brads to the corners, and some brown grosgrain ribbon to finish it off.

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday! For those of you in the U.S.; I hope you had a nice holiday weekend. Today's card uses two Storage Units, Ink & More sets; THINKING OF MOTHER and WILL YOU BE MY VALENTINE. I also used SC227 for my layout.

The cardstock colors are Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip, and Pink Passion and the patterned paper I used for the background is from the Basic Grey Sultry Collection. I paper pieced the "MOM" image with paper from the SU! Raspberry Tart Collection and the "XOXO" was stamped in Pink Passion and punched out with my word window punch. The Pink Passion layer is embossed with my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder and the Kiwi Kiss ribbon is from SU!.

YAY! Look what Mr. Brown delivered today. I've wanted one FOREVER, so my sweet hubby gave me one for Mother's Day (along with a "MOM" necklace and a Chicago Cubs jersey; GO CUBBIES!). Actually, he let me pick it out and make the purchase myself, since he wouldn't know where to start. I purchased mine from Ebay and got a SUPER deal on it; including FREE shipping.

I sure hope this makes a difference in my photos. It should, since I've been using two pieces of white cardstock and a $4 lamp from Wal-Mart...LOL!

SUINKWWC40 - Let's Get Scrappy

Good Morning! I hope everyone is having a good week so far. It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another WHACHADOIN' WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE at Storage Units, Ink & More. This week's challenge is to create a scrapbook page in honor of National Scrapbooking Month. So, do you want to play along? If so, check out THIS post for more information. I wanted to create a scrapbook page for this photo of my youngest Daughter. She is five now, but this was taken at her 1st birthday party (please excuse the quality of the photo, as it was taken before I owned a digital camera...LOL!).

This is an 8x8 page and I used Core'dinations cardstock for the base. All other cardstock and patterned paper, as well as the ribbon and brads are from the Birthday Girl Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions. The It's My Party set by SUINK was just perfect for this page. I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them in with Prismacolor Markers. I paper pieced a couple of the balloons and added StarDust Stickles to a couple others. It's really hard to see in the photo, but the background is stamped with the balloon image using Gable Green ink. The "Happy Birthday" image was cut out with my Mega Curved Rectangle dies and the balloons are popped up with dimensionals.

SUINK May Sneak Peeks

Good Morning & Happy Monday! It's my turn today to give you a SNEAK PEEK at some of the fun new goodies being released this month by Storage Units, Ink & More. This month is a bit different than most. No new stamp sets will be released; however there are lots of fun new products that SUINK is releasing, including patterned paper, ribbon, buttons, and flowers. These will all be available starting Wednesday, May 13th.

I have a few different things to show you today, so stick with me...LOL! First up is an altered picture frame. I picked up the unfinished picture frame from Wal-Mart for less than $3.00. I started by tracing the frame onto a sheet of My Little Shoebox Patterned Paper, then painted the frame with Light Leaf Green acrylic paint. After the paint was dry, I covered the front of the frame with Mod Podge and adhered the paper. Then, I sanded around the frame to smooth out all the edges. To finish the frame off, I added a few matching flowers and buttons and one of my favorite black and white photos of my girls.

Next, is an 8x8 scrapbook page. This is my VERY FIRST scrapbook page! So, I used THIS scrapbook layout for my inspiration. This is a perfect layout to showcase the new Core'dinations Whitewash Collection that SUINK will be releasing this month. The base of the scrapbook page is Core'dinations cardstock and layered onto that is more My Little Shoebox Patterned Paper. I adhered a picture of my girls to another piece of Core'dinations cardstock and distressed around the edges. I tore three different colors of the Whitewash cardstock and adhered some flowers and buttons.

Lastly, is a card using the SUINK set, Butterfly Garden. I used Taylor's Sketch #66 for my layout. This was a perfect sketch to showcase the new button being released this month. I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it in with Prismacolor Markers. I added some StarDust Stickles to the image and blue rhinestones to the butterfly's antennas. I also used the Core'dinations Chocolate Box cardstock, which I distressed to show the beautiful turquoise color hidden beneath. Also new this month at SUINK is ribbon; I LOVE RIBBON!!! On this card, I used some green and brown polka dot ribbon.

For my challenge card this week, I used two Storage Units, Ink & More sets. The flower pot image is from the ALL THINGS GROW WITH LOVE set and the Happy Mother's Day sentiment is from the newly released set, THINKING OF MOTHER. I colored the flower pots in with Copic Markers and added yellow Twinkles to a few of the flowers. The cardstock colors are So Saffron and Real Red and the patterned paper is from the Twitterpated Collection by Imaginisce. It's Your Day & Pictures

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday! I have some pictures to share with you today, but first things first...LOL! I made this card for SC223 using two Storage Units, Ink & More sets. The flower is from the AT A SNAILS PACE set and the It's your day sentiment is from the newly released set, THINKING OF MOTHER. The flower is colored in with Copic Markers and the sentiment is stamped in Chocolate Chip ink. It's hard to see in the photo, but I pierced around the image. Then I added silver rhinestones to the corners and Crystal Stickles to the flower. The cardstock, patterned paper, ribbon, and rhinestones are all from the Mother's Day Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions.

Now, onto my pictures...:)

Here are my girls on Easter Sunday. My little one has a wad of gum in her month; nice huh...LOL?!?

This week's challenge is to make a basket. There are so many fun templates and tutorials out there. You can either create a May Day basket or share an Easter basket that you made for this year. Other ideas are to make a Mother's Day basket, flower basket, or shower favor basket. The possibilities are endless. So, do you want to play along? So, do you want to play along? For this week's challenge, I am showing you an Easter basket that I made. I used a super cute (and easy) template by Waltzingmouse on SCS. You can check out her template HERE. I printed the template on a sheet of double sided SU! Raspberry Tart Designer Paper. I adhered four strips of Rose Red cardstock on each side of the basket that I punched with my Martha Stewart Doily Lace Edger Punch. The handle is from the same designer paper and the flowers and brads are from Taylored Expressions.

The Easter Greetings sentiment is from the YOU'RE SOME BUNNY SPECIAL set from Storage Units, Ink & More. I stamped the sentiment is Rose Red and the scalloped circle is Kiwi Kiss.

Sweet Spring Easter Cards

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a nice Easter. My parents flew in from Arizona last Wednesday for Easter, so I haven't created much, but I do have two last Easter cards to show you today. I didn't make as many Easter cards as I would have liked to this year and get this; I didn't even mail any out (EEK!!!). Both cards today use the Sweet Spring set by Stamp a Sweet Impression and Easter Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions. I added a red rhinestone to the cherry on each card. The images are popped on with dimensionals and I added Crystal Stickles to each.

I used Amy's Friday Sketch #56 for this card. I also added three Baby Pink Candy Dots to the patterned paper.

For this card, I used Taylor's Cupcake Challenge Sketch #60 . Part of the image is paper pieced and I used my EK Success Wavy Dot punch.

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday! I have a Storage Units, Ink & More card to share with you today. I used one of the newest releases called RAIN, RAIN, GO AWAY and SC222 for my layout. I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them in with Copic Markers. The cardstock colors are So Saffron and Rose Red and the patterned paper is from the SU! Friends and Flowers scrappin' kit. I paper pieced the ducks hat and added Crystal Stickles to the cloud and rain drops. The images (including the cloud) are popped up with dimensionals and the Caribbean Satin ribbon and Celery Grosgrain ribbon are from Taylored Expressions.

For this week's challenge, I decided to go the "silly" route. Who doesn't think their house is like a ZOO sometimes; especially if you have kids? I know mine is; more often than not...LOL! I used two Storage Units, Ink & More sets for my card this week. I used the LET'S PLAY set and the new (just released today) set, WELCOME TO THE ZOO. I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them in with Prismacolor Markers. I used my white gel pen to add polka dots to the green dress. The cardstock colors are Bazzill brown (card base & circles; don't have the exact color name), Core'dinations (blue), Green Galore, and Only Orange. I also used the same, fun American Crafts paper as I did on THIS card. The WELCOME TO THE ZOO image is cut out and popped up on the striped ribbon. Good Afternoon! I hope everyone had a nice weekend. I made today's card for Taylor's Cupcake Challenge this past Friday. You can view her sketch HERE. I used the Stamp a Sweet Impression set, Sweet Spring and the Easter Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions. The image is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored in with Copic Markers. I added Crystal Stickles to part of the cupcake and egg and a red rhinestone to the cherry.

For my sneak peek today, I used the set RAIN, RAIN, GO AWAY. I used the retired SU! designer paper, Petals & Paisleys, paired with Old Olive and Bazzill Precious cardstock. The images are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I paper pieced the raincoat, hat, boots, and umbrella. The rest of the image is colored in with Copic Markers and I added some Starfire Glitter to the puddle and StarDust Stickles to the umbrella handle. I added some white grosgrain ribbon and layered light pink double loop trim on top. The sentiment is stamped in Old Olive ink and popped up with dimensionals.

Let It Slide

Good Morning & Happy Saturday; my favorite day of the week! I have another cutie Storage Units, Ink & More card to share with you today. The boys on the slide and sentiment are from the LET'S PLAY set and the grass is from the YOU'RE SOME BUNNY SPECIAL set. I used SC219 for my layout (LOVE this sketch). The image is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored in with Prismacolor Markers. The cardstock colors are Green Galore and Only Orange and the patterned paper is American Crafts. To create the waves, I used my EK Success Wavy Dot punch. I used my ticket corner punch on the image, added red brads, and popped it up on dimensionals.

WAIT; there's more...LOL! Tomorrow is the start of SNEAK PEEKS for Storage Units, Ink & More April releases. There are three sets being released (YES, THREE) and they are ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE. Good Morning! I hope everyone is having a good week so far. It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another WHACHADOIN' WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE at Storage Units, Ink & More. This week's challenge is to use texture in your card making. What is your favorite way to add texture to your cards? Share your favorites or try something new. So, do you want to play along? There are many ways I like to add texture to my cards, but for this week's challenge I used my #1 favorite; the Cuttlebug embossing folder (I know, nothing fancy...LOL). For today's card I used the Swiss Dots folder (my favorite). I also used Taylor's Cupcake Challenge #60 sketch for my layout. The ADORABLE girl jumping rope and the sentiment are from the Storage Units, Ink & More set; LET'S PLAY. I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink; paper pieced her dress, and colored the rest of the image in with Copic Markers. The cardstock, patterned paper, and ribbon are all from Taylored Expressions. I used my new EK Success Wavy Dot Punch on the patterned paper and the image is popped up on dimensionals.

Mojo Sketch #77 - Happy Birthday

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday! I have a quick card today using Mojo Sketch #77 that I forgot to post a couple of weeks ago (oops!). I made this card for one of my Daughter's friends. I used the Stamp a Sweet Impression set, Sweet Celebration and the Birthday Girl Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions. I colored the image in with Prismacolor Markers and added some StarDust Stickles to the hat and cupcake liner. I punched out three little flowers using a punch I picked up at Michael's a while back (in the $1 section). Then, I adhered pink rhinestones over each of the flowers.

SUINKWWC31 - Easter Egg Hunt

Good Morning! I hope everyone is having a good week so far. It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another WHACHADOIN' WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE at Storage Units, Ink & More. This week's challenge is simple; make an Easter card. The SUINK Design Team was challenged to use the new set, YOU'RE SOME BUNNY SPECIAL. But, if you don't own this set yet, feel free to use any Easter set you do own. So, do you want to play along? If so, check out THIS post for more information. If you upload your creation to SCS, remember to use keyword SUINKWWC31.

For my card this week, I used five different stamps from the YOU'RE SOME BUNNY SPECIAL set. I also used SC218 from last week for my layout. I stamped the main image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored it in with Prismacolor Markers, and paper pieced her dress. One of the things I love about the Storage Units, Ink and More sets (and there are more than one) is that most of them come with images that are just PERFECT for paper piecing. I then arranged three of the egg images on an acrylic block to create my own background for the smaller panels and again, colored those in with Prismacolor Markers. The "Easter Egg Hunt" sentiment was punched out with my Word Window Punch. The cardstock colors are Certainly Celery, So Saffron, and Bashful Blue and the patterned paper is from the Imaginisce For Peeps Sake Collection. Her bonnet wasn't complete without a couple of Ice Blue Rhinestones. TECC58 & CC208 - Just Because

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday! I was a stamping machine this past weekend, but unfortunately I'm having issues with the software I use to edit my photos. So, I apologize for the POOR picture quality. I made this card for Taylor's Cupcake Challenge #58 and also used Color Challenge 208 (Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip, and Pink Passion) and used my Petals & Stems set by Verve Stamps. The Pink Passion layer is embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. I added pink rhinestones to the center of the flowers and below the sentiment and the Kiwi Kiss ribbon is from SU!.

I Wheely Like You

Good Morning! I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Storage Units, Ink & More released their two sets yesterday; YOU'RE SOME BUNNY SPECIAL and LET'S PLAY. You can check out the full sets and all of the adorable images they contain HERE. My card today uses the Let's Play set and Amy's Friday Sketch. I stamped the main image onto Choice Buttercream cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used a ruler and a fine tip black marker to create the sidewalk. Then, I masked off the sidewalk and main image and stamped the grass; which is from the You're Some Bunny Special set. I colored in the images with a combination of Prismacolor and Copic Markers.

My colors were inspired from the My Mind's Eye patterned paper I used. The cardstock colors are Yoyo Yellow, Only Orange, Prism Classic Red, and Bazzill Patina and the polka dot grosgrain ribbon is from Taylored Expressions. SUINK Sneak Peek - You're Some Bunny Special

Good Morning and Happy Saturday! It's my turn today to give you a SNEAK PEEK at one of the newest sets being released by Storage Units, Ink & More tomorrow, March 1st. For my card today, I used the YOU'RE SOME BUNNY SPECIAL set. The other set being released tomorrow is called LET'S PLAY and they are both absolutely ADORABLE.

I started by stamping the basket in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then, I stamped each of the eggs inside the basket, masking the front two before I stamped the back one. I colored the images in with a combination of Prismacolor and Copic Markers and covered the bow with StarDust Stickles. The cardstock colors are So Saffron, Prism Baby Pink Medium, and Bazzill Parakeet. The patterned paper is called Spring Fling from the Imaginisce For Peeps Sake Collection and the ribbon is from May Arts.

Good Morning! I can't believe it's already Thursday; not that I'm complaining...LOL! Today's card uses all Stampin' UP! products. Good Morning! I hope everyone is having a good week so far. It's Wednesday, which means it time for another WHACHADOIN' WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE at Storage Units, Ink & More. This week we are going green. No, not the color green; the environmental type of green. Use something you would normally throw away on your card. So, do you want to play along? If so, check out THIS post for more information. For my challenge card this week, I used my SUINK set, GOIN' TO THE CHAPEL. I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them in with Copic Markers. I added StarDust Stickles to the hearts and used my Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust Pen to add sparkle to the cake. The cardstock colors are Choice Snow White, Prism Classic Red, and Basic Black and I picked up the patterned paper from my LSS a while back. Mary Jo always has the best challenges for the SUINK DT and this week was no exception. I struggled to come up with something to use on my card that I would normally throw out. Then, it hit me. While drinking a pop (I don't know if it's me or a Midwest thing, but I call it pop, not soda) over the weekend, I looked at the pop can tab and thought "Hey, I can use that as a ribbon slide...LOL". So, I slid my ribbon through the tab and covered it with StarDust Stickles, so it didn't look so dull.

The Bride & The Irish Dancer

Good Afternoon! I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Since I didn't post much last week, I have two cards to share with you today...LOL! Both cards use the two newest releases from Storage Units, Ink & More.

My first card uses the SUINK set; GOIN' TO THE CHAPEL and I made it for LSC207. This was the perfect challenge for this image. I wanted to keep the card simple, so the focus would be on the details in her dress. Unfortunately, they did not show up very well in the photo. I colored in the image in with Copic Markers and added Starfire Glitter to her dress. Trust me when I tell you that it is SUPER sparkly IRL.

My second card using the SUINK set; BLARNEY STONE and I made it for LSC208. This card was inspired by my fellow SUINK design team member; Tori. I love the patterned paper, paired with the orange and green in THIS card. I colored the image in with Copic Markers and used my Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust Pen to add some sparkle to her crown. I used Pumpkin Pie cardstock, Core'dinations cardstock, and patterned paper from the My Mind's Eye Tres Jolie Collection. The Pumpkin Pie cardstock was punched with my Fiskar's Threading Water Punch and the ribbon is May Arts.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Good Evening and HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far. I thought today would be perfect day to post one last Valentine's project. This is the other Target mailbox that I altered. I filled them with a bunch of goodies and my hubby and I gave them to our girls this afternoon. We went a little overboard on stuff for them, so I put whatever didn't fit in the mailbox in a cute little V-Day bag. I pulled out both of my Valentine's sets from Storage Units, Ink & More; SWEET THINGS and WILL YOU BE MY VALENTINE. I stamped the image on Choice Snow White cardstock and colored it in with Copic Markers and the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment was stamped in Real Red ink. The cardstock is Bazzill Precious and the patterned paper is from the Target $1 Spot. To finish it off, I added some yummy ribbon from my stash.

Fun-Frilled DT & School Valentine's

Good Morning and Happy Thursday! I can't believe how fast this week is flying by; YAY!!! I have a couple of things to share with you today. First, my friend Michelle has started a new website. It is called FUN-FRILLED and I'm one of the inaugural Design Team Members. Each week there will be a new theme and each day a different designer will post a card or project with their interpretation of that week's theme. There are seven of us on the design team; one for each day of the week. I have linked all of these talented ladies on my side bar, if you would like to head on over and check out their blogs. My day of the week is going to be Friday. So, each Friday I will have a card or project posted on the Fun-Frilled website to go along with that week's theme. Posts will start on Monday, February 16th.

The cardstock and ribbon are from the Valentine Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions. I colored the images in with Copic Markers and used a silver pen for the bow on the cupid cuppie and on the pencil of the other cuppie. I added StarDust Stickles to the images and a Red Candy Dot to each of the cuppie's cherries. The three red hearts are also from the Love is Sweet set and I stamped them using Real Red ink. The size of the Valentine's are 3 1/4 x 3 1/4.

The Valentine's just weren't complete without a little candy...LOL! So, I used my craft knife to cut a couple of slits in the cardstock and added a Jolly Ranger heart shaped sucker to each of them.

Good Morning! I hope everyone is having a good week so far. It's Wednesday, which means it time for another WHACHADOIN' WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE at Storage Units, Ink & More. This week's challenge is to make a Monochromatic Card. It doesn't matter what color you use, as long as it's only one. You can add black or white if needed. So, do you want to play along? If so, check out THIS post for more information. If you upload your creation to SCS, remember to use keyword SUINKWWC27.

For this week's challenge, I used my SUINK set; BLARNEY STONE. Since I chose to use the color green, this beer image was perfect. It's been years since I've had a green beer...LOL! I used SC214 from last week for my layout. The cardstock colors are Glorious Green and Green Galore and I used some shamrock patterned paper I had in my stash. I colored the image in with a Prismacolor Marker and added some Starfire Glitter. The polka dot shamrocks and the sentiment are stamped are stamped in Green Galore ink and I added some StarDust Stickles to the shamrock in the sentiment. I had the shamrock ribbon from a swap I was in a while back and thought it went perfect with the card. TECC53 - Goin' To The Chapel

Good Morning and a BIG TGIF to all of you!!! My card today uses one of the newest releases from Storage Units, Ink & More called GOIN' TO THE CHAPEL and I used Taylor's sketch from last Friday (I know, I'm a little late...LOL). I used some wedding patterned paper I had in my stash (I'm sorry; I don't remember who makes it) and my Core'dinations Cardstock; which is also available at Storage Units, Ink & More. I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored parts of them in with a light blue Prismacolor Marker. Then, I used my Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust Pen to trace the swirls on the images and color in the rest of the bell; all of which is really hard to see my photo...:( I popped the image up with dimensionals and added some rhinestones and sheer silver ribbon to finish it off. This card can be used as a wedding or anniversary card; depending on what sentiment you stamp on the inside. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a WONDERFUL weekend!

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday! I have a My Timeless Templates project to share with you today. A while back, I purchased the All Boxed Up template from PAPERTREYink. Then, I saw THIS post of Lauren's and couldn't WAIT to try out her One Sheet Wonder. Her One Sheet Wonder allows you to make four different cards; two of each design. I knew exactly what piece of patterned paper I wanted to use too. The patterned paper is called Ava-Aqua Floral and is from the Making Memories Noteworthy Collection. Isn't it pretty? And, it matches the Blush Red Dark & Baby Pink Medium Prism cardstock perfectly. The dark red satin ribbon is from Taylored Expressions and the Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon is from Stampin' UP!. I used the "L" from my JustRite Curlz Kit and stamped it in Close to Cocoa and Ruby Red ink. Now for the pics:

SUINK Sneak Peek - Blarney Stone

Good Afternoon and Happy Saturday! It's my turn today to give you a SNEAK PEEK at one of the newest sets being released by Storage Units, Ink & More tomorrow, February 1st. I meant to post this earlier, but I had the opportunity to sleep in this morning, so I did... :) For my card today, I used the BLARNEY STONE set. The other set being released tomorrow is called GOIN' TO THE CHAPEL and they are both a must have. I used SCS213 for my layout. I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it in with Prismacolor Markers. I added White Liquid Applique to the cloud, StarDust Stickles to the gold, and outlined the pot with a green Gelly Roll pen. I tried so hard to capture the "sparkle" that the Stickles and pen added to the image, but no such luck...:( You can, however, click on the photo for a larger view. Trust me when I say that this card looks so much better IRL. The cardstock colors are Choice Snow White, Glorious Green, and Green Galore. The small shamrock was stamped using Green Galore ink and the sentiment was stamped using Glorious Green. The patterned paper and ribbon was leftover from a St. Patrick's Day swap I participated in last year.

A Surprise RAK

Good Afternoon and TGIF!!! I was going to post a project for you today, but that's going to have to wait. I have something a little more special to show you. When I got home from work yesterday, I noticed there was a FedEx package for me. I KNOW I didn't buy anything, because I put myself on a "stamping spending freeze". I immediately noticed that the package was from my friend, Michelle, and proceeded to TEAR open the box (LOL). I squealed with delight when I saw all of WONDERFUL goodies she sent me. This was a TRUE Random Act of Kindness. I was not expecting anything from Michelle and she truly made my day. Now I just have to think of something FABULOUS to thank Michelle for her kindness.

They were SUPER excited and can't wait to make Valentine cupcakes for their friends.

Altered Valentine Mailbox

Good Morning! I was FINALLY able to get my hands on a couple of these tin mailboxes from the Target $1 Spot (YAY!!!). I tried the last two years, but every time I went there they were sold out. I only picked up two; one for each of my Daughters. I plan on giving each of them one for Valentine's Day filled with candy and a gift card to their favorite store. This was my first time altering one these mailboxes and I have to say, thanks to Emily's Tutorial, it was super simple. I used the cupid cuppie and the happy heart day sentiment from the SASI set, Love is Sweet, and colored them in with Copic Markers. I did, however, use a silver pen to color in the bow. The cardstock, patterned paper, and ribbon are all from the Valentine Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions. I can't wait to alter the second one this weekend.

Whachadoin' Wednesday & SUINK Sneak Peeks

Good Morning! It's Wednesday, which means it time for another WHACHADOIN' WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE at Storage Units, Ink & More. This week's challenge is to make a card using RED, WHITE, & BLACK. I have to say that using just red, white, and black was a lot harder than I thought it would be. But, that's why they call it a challenge, right?!? The envelope and mailbox are from the WILL YOU BE MY VALENTINE set by Storage Units, Ink & More. And, I have to admit that I cheated just a little bit (shhhh). I used my C-1 Copic Marker to highlight the images. I colored the hearts in with a Copic Marker and (even though it's really hard to see in the photo) I added StarDust Stickles to both images. I used Choice Snow White cardstock, Prism Papers Classic Red, and the some black and white Doodlebug patterned paper that I had in my stash. The red and black sheer polka dot ribbon is from Michael's and I added some red rhinestones to the bottom. TECC52 - Kissing Cuppies

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday! On Friday, Taylor celebrated a year of Cupcake Challenges on her blog. I have participated in many of her challenges over the past year and this week is no exception. My card today uses Taylor's TECC52 sketch, which you can view HERE. I pulled out my SASI Love is Sweet set and inked up these cute little kissing cuppies. I colored them in with Copic Markers and added some StarDust Stickles and Starfire Glitter to the image. It's hard to see in the photo, but I stamped the red layer of cardstock with the three hearts stamp from the Love is Sweet set using Versamark. The hearts were punched out with my Martha Stewart Scalloped Heart Double Punch and I used my Fiskars Threading Water Punch to create the scallops. I used cardstock, patterned paper, ribbon, and brads from the Valentine Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions. LSC204 - Paint it Black

Good Morning! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Mine was very productive. I had a lot of catching up to do from being sick last week. I made today's card for Friday's Limited Supplies Challenge on SCS. The challenge was to use a black card base, so your images, colors, and papers POP! I decided to reach for one of my favorite colors from the BOLD BRIGHTS family, Pink Passion; a perfect color for Valentine's Day. I pulled out my WILL YOU BE MY VALENTINE set from Storage Units, Ink & More. I love this heart image from the set. I stamped the image numerous times using Pink Passion and Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then, I added StarDust Stickles around the outside of all the hearts. It's hard to see in the photo, but it's very sparkly IRL. The Pink Passion layer is embossed with the Cuttlebug d'vine Swirl embossing folder and the black and white ribbon is from Taylored Expressions. That's it for today. 1. I was a gymnast for 13 years. In my junior year of high school, our team took 3rd in state. BUT NOW, I can't do a cartwheel to save my life, but my husband CAN...LOL!!!

2. I LOVE PENS!!! My friends know how much I love them and usually bring me back one or two whenever they go on vacation. I have pens from all over the world. I take them from Doctor's offices and sometimes from the waitresses at restaurants (I know; HORRIBLE). I have about 5 in my purse, about 20 at work, and who knows how many at home....:) I'm what you call a "Pen Snob".

3. I have naturally curly hair, but I prefer it straight. Isn't that how is always is; you have curly hair and straighten it - you have straight hair and curl it...LOL?!?!

4. I HAVE to have coffee EVERY SINGLE morning or I am NOT a happy person.

5. I am a NAP person. I take naps every Saturday and Sunday afternoon (if there isn't something that interferes with it) and will usually sleep for at LEAST two to three hours.

6. I have put myself on a "Stamping Spending Freeze" for the time being. While organizing my stamping space a couple of weeks ago, I came across way too many things that have yet to be used; things that I purchased over a year ago; YIKES! So, I'm currently working on using up the stuff I have until I buy anything new. Let's see how long that lasts...LOL!!!

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday! I'm a little behind on posting, due to being sick, but I'm feeling much better today (thank goodness). I made this card using last week's Sketch Challenge on SCS. I absolutely LOVE this little girl image from the Storage Units, Ink & More set; WILL YOU BE MY VALENTINE. Her dress just screams; PAPER PIECE ME...LOL!!! So, that's exactly what I did. The cardstock and patterned paper is from the Valentine Key Ingredients available at Taylored Expressions. The Happy Valentine's Day sentiment and "I Love U" envelope are also from the Will You Be My Valentine set. I colored the images in with Copic Markers and added StarDust Stickles to the girl's heart and hair bow. I actually made two of these. I thought it would be a perfect card for my youngest Daughter to give my Husband for Valentine's Day. Now that I'm feeling better, I'm looking forward to getting back to my regular stamping. I am currently working on four different projects (yes; all at the same time...LOL) and I'm also in the process of making my own photo studio. I will share more of that with you once it is completed. TECC51 - Be Mine

Good Morning! I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Mine was okay. I woke up Saturday morning with a horrible head cold and still have it. That put a glitch in what was supposed to be a very productive weekend. I did, however, find some time in between naps and laundry (LOL) to play along for Taylor's Cupcake Challenge this week. You can view her sketch HERE. I pulled out my new SASI set, Love is Sweet, and my Valentine Key Ingredients for today's card. I colored the cute little cuppie in with Copic Markers and added Crystal Stickles to the heart and cherry. I also used a silver pen for the metal part of the pencil (you can click on the photo for a larger view). The hearts were punched out using my Martha Stewart Scalloped Heart Double Punch. I stamped the "Be Mine" sentiment on a Cuttlebug ribbon slide and added three red rhinestones. The cardstock, patterned paper, and stain ribbon are all from the Valentine Key Ingredients. Good Morning! It's time again for another Whachadoin' Wednesday Challenge over at Storage Units, Ink & More. This week's challenge is to make a Valentine Treat Holder. For this week's challenge, I decided to make my VERY FIRST Coaster Gift Box. I've been wanting to attempt one of these for while now and this challenge gave me the perfect opportunity to do so. I used medium weight coasters for my box which I purchased from Eclectic Paperie. The patterned paper I used to cover the coasters is called Hand-Dipped and it's from the BasicGrey Bittersweet Collection. I used Pretty in Pink and Purely Pomegranate cardstock and ribbon to match. The heart shaped chocolate box image is from the SWEET THINGS set. I colored it in with Copic Markers, added Crystal Stickles to the ribbon and bow, and used my white gel on the chocolates. Of course I had to fill the box with chocolates (LOL), so I used some Hershey Nuggets that I had on hand. I stamped white address labels with the swirl looking heart from the WILL YOU BE MY VALENTINE set and I used both Pretty in Pink and Purely Pomegranate ink to match the cardstock and ribbon. The "Happy Valentine's Day" sentiment is also from the WILL YOU BE MY VALENTINE set. To finish the box off, I added some white tissue paper that was left over from Christmas...LOL! It's Good To Be Sweet

Good Afternoon! I have another Storage Units, Ink & More creation to share with you today. I'm having SO MUCH fun coloring in all of the "sweet and yummy" images from their two newest sets. For today's card I used one of the chocolate box images and the "It's good to be sweet" sentiment from the SWEET THINGS set. I colored in the image with my Prismacolor Pencils and blended with Gamsol and a stump. Then, I added Crystal Stickles to the ribbon and bow and used my white gel pen for frosting on some of the chocolates. The patterned paper and brads are from the BasicGrey Bittersweet Collection and the cardstock colors are Bazzill Crimson and Bazzill Precious. NOW, for my favorite part of the card; THE CHOCOLATE BOX cardstock by Core'dinations. You can sand, tear, or antique it to unveil the yummy colors hidden beneath the texture (how cool is that?). I put a layer of the cardstock underneath the striped patterned paper and tore the edges to reveal the light pink center. I love how it turned out. I also added some StarDust Stickles to the heart, the hair bow, and flowers. The cardstock colors are Whisper White, Pink Passion, and the red texture cardstock is by Core'dinations. The Valentine patterned paper I used is from the Target $1 Spot. I just love how you get 12 pieces of paper (some of the paper has glitter on it) for only a buck; WOO HOO!!! Good Evening! So, listen to what I did this afternoon. I was editing a few of my posts that had the label "Storage Units, Ink & More", because I had mispelled the label. In one brief second, I accidentally deleted three of my most recent SUINK posts (including today's post). I just sat there and stared at my computer screen for about 5 minutes; I couldn't belive it. In the past, when I've deleted a post, it asks me "are you sure?", but it didn't this time. So, I had to go back and redo all three posts and thank goodness I rememberd most of what I typed...LOL!!! You can't really tell by just glancing at my blog, except for all of the WONDERFUL comments that were left for me are gone *insert sad face*. Any who, I guess I'll have to be more careful next time.

I also have another Birthday RAK to share with you. I received this SUPER CUTE card in the mail today from my blogging buddy, Michelle. Thank you so much Michelle; I LOVE IT!!!

I'm off to get ready for a New Year's Eve party that we are going to tonight. We NEVER go anywhere on New Year's Eve unless we are spending the night there, so luckily for us, our friends four doors down are having a party this year, so we can walk...LOL!!! SUINKWWC21 - Happy New Year

Good Afternoon and Happy New Year's Eve! It's time for another Whachadoin' Wednesday Challenge at Storage Units, Ink & More. The challenge this week is simple; make a card for the New Year. It can say Happy New Year or it can be a representation of something you wish to do in the New Year or any other interpretation you wish. For my card, I used the SUINK set AT A SNAILS PACE. As soon as I saw the "Slow down and smell the flowers" sentiment, I knew this was going to be my card for this week's challenge. Looking back on 2008 and thinking about how fast the year flew by, I don't think I really took the time to slow down and appreciate everything in my life. It's always GO, GO, GO and I'm sure all of you can relate to that...LOL! This is something I would like to change in 2009; for myself, my family, and everyone and everything that is important to me. I used Prism Papers Baby Pink Medium and Chocolate Chip cardstock and the patterned paper is from the Making Memories Noteworthy Collection. I colored the images in with Copic Markers and added Crystal Stickles to the center of the flowers. The polka dot paper is embossed with the Cuttlebug d'vine Swirls embossing folder. I added some brown and white polka dot ribbon from Taylored Expressions and I thought the adhesive pearls were a nice touch.

SUINK Sneak Peek - SWEET THINGS

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday! It's my turn to give you a SNEAK PEEK at one of the newest sets being released by Storage Units, Ink & More on January 1st (YAY; only 2 more days). For this card, I used the SWEET THINGS set. When I first saw this set, the first image that caught my eye was this adorable cupcake. Who doesn't like cupcakes, right?!?

I used Whisper White for the card base and the pink and lavender cardstock by Core'dinations (also available at SUINK). The texture and quality of this cardstock is AMAZING. Keep a look out, because in the near future I will be showing you why this isn't just your ordinary cardstock. I colored in the cupcake with Prismacolor Pencils, paper pieced the cupcake liner, and added LOTS of Crystal Stickles. The "Love + Sweet = Happiness" sentiment is also from the Sweet Things set and I cut it out using a pair of scalloped scissors. I wish I could remember what company this cute patterned paper is from. It's something I picked up from my LSS a while back. The striped grosgrain ribbon is from one of Jody's ribbon shares and it matched the pink cardstock perfectly. To finish the card off, I added a red rhinestone to the cherry and silver rhinestones next to the sentiment.

TECC48 ~ Lil' Pea-Nut Birthday

Good Afternoon! I want to start off by saying that I'm sorry about the poor picture quality of my card today. I was SO TIRED when I took the picture last night and I just didn't have the energy to keep playing with it. So, this is going to have to do...LOL! I made this card for Taylor's Cupcake Challenge this week. You can view her sketch here. My Lil' Pea-Nut stamp set from Our Craft Lounge hadn't seen any ink yet, so I thought it was time I changed that. I colored the images in with Copic Markers and added Crystal Stickles to the party hat, ice cream, and present. I actually used five different images (plus the sentiment) from the Lil' Pea-Nut set; the elephant, party hat, ice cream cone, grass, and present. The cardstock colors are Real Red and Cool Caribbean and the patterned paper is from the My Mind's Eye Enchanting Collection. I embossed the Cool Caribbean layer with my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder and popped the present up with dimensionals.

Good Morning! The time has finally come where I can share my VERY EXCITING NEWS with all of you. I have been chosen as one of the newest Design Team Members for Storage Units, Ink & More. Yes, ME!!! I almost fell out of my chair when I received Denise's email welcoming me to the team. I am THRILLED and HONONED to be part of such an amazingly talented group of ladies.
